Selling Department Supervisor


OVERSEE DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS: Run the day-to-day activities of the department by taking care of back-end operations

  • COMMUNICATE INDIVIDUAL SALES TARGETS & NEW PROMOTIONS

Inform selling team about individual sales targets, new offers & alert Category Merchandising Manager of product/promo problems

  • MANAGE INVENTORY

Track current stock levels plus pending deliveries vs. sales trend to alert Category Merchandising Managers of possible stockouts & slow-moving items

  • CHECK ITEMS FOR PULL-OUT

Inspect items for transfer or RTV to ensure correctness of product type & quantity, process in MMS & sign the required documents

  • MANAGE OPEX

Manage the operating budget of the department by ordering the right number of supplies, monitoring use & safekeeping extra items

  • ADMINISTER STAFF

Monitor attendance of sales clerks & stock clerks & manage absences by re-assigning tasks to remaining staff (manage plantilla, leaves, issue violation reports)

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in any business-related course
  • With minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in supervisory capacity, preferably in retail management
  • Personable, creative, sales-oriented and with above average communication skills
  • Flexible to be assigned to work schedules supporting the retail operational hours
  • Willing to be assigned in The SM Store SANTA ROSA
  • Full time positions available
